Probably, you have stored your AV equipment in a cabinet. To keep everything tidy and clean, you have also closed the doors of the cabinet to hide the equipment and its cables. The EW1580 IR Extender Kit extends the IR signal of your remote control and lets you send commands to the A/V equipment that is hidden behind doors or stored in a closed cabinet. The EW1580 comes with 12 IR emitters for controlling 12 AV devices. The extender is powered via the included adapter.

The EW1580 Extender Kit lets you control up to 12 IR controlled A/V devices. Just place the IR side of the emitter in front of the IR eye of the A/V Device. Connect it to the extender and connect the IR receiver to it. Place the IR receiver eye near your TV or other convenient place (max. 10m) to aim at with a remote control. Now you can control your A/V device even when it’s stored in a closed cabinet. The high sensitivity IR sensor prevents input delay.

Power via enclosed power supply or USB
Power the EW1580 IR Extender Kit via the enclosed 12V power adapter. Additionally, the extender can be power via 5V USB. The USB power cable is not included. The extender has an integrated mounting bracket.
